About Us...

So, who's behind Travel Angels Network? Who are Julie-Ann and Rocky?

Here's our stories...

Julie Ann Forcum

I'm a leisure travel consultant and the driving force behind www.TravelAngelsNetwork.com where I share my passion for helping people find the best travel bargains while sharing the profits from the site with children's charities like Make A Wish Foundation.

I've suffered from Cancer and I'm now learning to live with Menier’s Disease. Having been through these two life-changing experiences, I can really connect emotionally with the traumatic and daunting prospects faced by sick young children and their families.

It has become my greatest wish to give our children a promise of a better tomorrow by granting wishes, providing precious memories and bring joy to young lives.

I've traveled extensively around the world and experienced other cultures and countries, and in my younger life I was very heavily involved with theater, acting and commercial voice over work for radio & TV commercials.

Prior to my immigration to America, I served in the Australian Army as a reservist and obtained my Bachelors of Business & Marketing Degree through my military service.

I currently live in beautiful Temecula California, have been a foster parent, and I'm currently a parent to two wonderful children Brittany 18 and Nicolas 16. I'm married to Lyle Forcum a retired Lt. Colonel in the Marine Corp.

My inspiration comes from my upbringing in Australia where my mother and family raised me to be socially conscious, accepting of all humanity and to do what is right each and every day.

I have extensive experience in marketing, advertising and event management and have worked for many major corporate, civic & business groups over the last 25 years with great success.

My greatest love is working with the community and my philosophy is to pay it forward in life by impacting many lives, by creating a circle of giving and to change lives one day at a time.

It is my sincerest wish that everyone experiences the joy of travel, connect with their families and make it possible to help fulfill dreams every day.

Rocky Tapscott

As a child and into my teens, I loved going on vacation with my family. We didn't have a lot of money to throw around in those days, but my parents always had enough put away for us to go somewhere on our school holidays.

Sometimes it was camping at the beach in our caravan, other times we'd travel interstate to visit family and friends. No matter what we did, it was always an adventure...

I remember walking for hours along the beaches of Australia's Gold Coast, surfing and just enjoying being on vacation. Or trekking through hidden rain forests and discovering how beautiful nature can be.

Traveling with my parents was one of the best times of my life - we saw and experienced so many things that I remember even today, more than 30 years later.

Now that I'm older, I try to recreate those same type of experiences for my 12 year old daughter Rachel. Sure, plenty these experiences are much more expensive to do now, but spending time with my wife Deb and Rachel traveling to new places is one of my greatest pleasures.

The great thing about being part of a travel business is that you get to uncover all sorts of great offers for interesting places. My goal here at Travel Angels Network is to help Julie-Ann bring these to you as part of our extended family. We sincerely hope our efforts help you to enjoy your travel experiences...

Thank you for taking the time to read our stories, and we wish you a life of wonderful adventures, no matter where you travel...

Best wishes,
